Academic strength includes Bachelor of Engineering (B.E), Computer Courses from Calgary Canada through CIDA, diploma in Project Management and consistent trainings in Managerial and Analytical skills. Major experience is from Pak-Arab Refinery Ltd (PARCO) – 28 years, Oil & Gas Development Corporation of Pakistan (OGDC) – 8years and time to time coaching in Engineering Colleges, Polytechnics and in the organizations where worked.At present I am associated with POLARIS as a Principal Consultant.

Along with continuous career growth, contributed as Team Lead in developing PARCO / PAPCO’s documentaries and performing Event Management for functions having Pakistan’s President / Prime Minister / Ministers as chief guest. Mostly acted as Master of Ceremony (MOC) and had been pioneer member of Editorial Board and lastly as Chief Editor of company’s newsletter.

As President and member Board of Directors with Project Management Institute (PMI), USA, Karachi Pakistan Chapter (KPC) promoting project management culture & ethics. As well contributed as Executive Vice President, VP Governance & Policy and VP Administration in KPC. Marketing portfolio also handled successfully for one year as additional responsibility. PMI KPC holds seminars, workshops, discussion forums for Business Leaders and Project Management practitioners.

For professional contribution at national level, member of Petroleum Institute of Pakistan (PIP) since last 15 years. As a hobby contributing to society as a Member Executive Council, Pakistan Institute of International Affairs (PIIA), Karachi.

PARCO for 24/7 operation of cross country Oil Pipelines assigned responsibilities in Pipeline Division as Coordinator, Planner and Pipeline Operation Manager, interfacing with multi disciplines including Engineering, Maintenance, Telecommunication / SCADA, Civil contracting, Project Management, IT Projects, HSE, Corporate Affairs, Corporate Planning, HR, Finance, Marketing, Audit and Materials.

As additional recognition, PARCO deputed as Management Representative (MR) and Dy. MR (Quality Management System) for Pipeline Division Integrated Management System regarding ISO Certification in Quality, Environment and OHSAS.

OGDC provided opportunities in Seismic Data Acquisition Parties for oil & gas exploration, Seismic Data Processing Centre and Seismic.

Zahara Khan is an award winning professional with passion for international development. She has 17+ years of experience and has led award-winning and internationally acknowledged multi-sectoral programs involving national and international stakeholders.

She has co-founded two social enterprises – a health social enterprise and an Information & Communication Technologies for Development (ICT4D) solutions company. Zahara has mentored many community-based youth and education development programs. She was the recipient of the Anita Borg Change Agent Award 2008 and the Google Global Community Scholar for 2009.She has also been invited to speak at various local & international forums. Zahara did her Bachelors, and Masters (cum laude), in Computer Science from FAST Karachi.

Mr. S. M. Mumtaz Ahmad is associated with PMI Karachi Chapter since 2004. He is a Charter Member of PMI Karachi. He served as VP Membership till January 2009. Since February 2009 he is president of PMI Karachi Pakistan Chapter.

He was engaged with industrial organization in senior position for over three decades. He was General Manager of Javedan Cement Factory in 1995. Then he joined Galadari Cement (Gulf) and served it for more than a decade. His main area of engagement was Project Management, Team development and Human Resource Management. He had been mostly a Change agent in his career.

Basically he is a Mining Engineer. Also holds AMIE Certification in Mechanical Engineering. He passed his PMP Exam in the year 2004. He became graduate from PMI Leadership Institute in the year 2008. He is also SDI Qualified & SDI Certified.

He is a frequent speaker and has conducted a number of Workshops on ‘Conflict Management’ and PMP Exam Preparation.

In 2003, he sold majority shares of Softnology to his partner, a successful businessman in Florida, USA. In mid 2010, founded KCompute with a focus on product development. Shahbaz has a proven track record in Project Management, Design, Development and Implementation of Information Systems for various clients in manufacturing, telecom, financial services, health care and defence industries. His special interest areas include Project Management and Implementation of Oracle Application (e-Business Suite). Munaf started volunteering for PMI-KPC in 2006 and served as a mentor for the PMI KPC’s First Mentoring Program.

In November 2013, TameemQazi transitioned into the banking industry as a Senior Manager at Bank Al Habib Limited, where she manages and streamlines structured project management practices in the IT division.

Prior To Bank Al Habib Limited, she was Business Manager at Kolachi Advanced Technologies, where she managed operations for offshore technology projects within the IT Division. With thirteen years of IT experience to her credit, TameemQazi has served in multi-functional capacity comprising of Business Management, Project Management, QA Management and Operations Management.

A tech enthusiast at heart and an aficionada of Google, Tameem spends a lot of time online in keeping up with latest happenings in the technology and banking world, contributing on various blogs and forums and coaching & mentoring while juggling through endless job pressures. Mohsin has been working in the Manufacturing domain for the past 08 years and has experience as being the acting General Manager for an entire FMCG Setup (Beverages filling for an esteemed organization in the country). He is currently engaged with a highly reputable manufacturing concern of the country as a Supply Chain executive, undertaking projects in the same domain. He is currently running his own consulting company on projects management. He is a member of PMI since 2004 and he became a certified PMP in 2005. He is one of the founder board member of PMI-Karachi chapter and is currently serving as Vice President – Programs. Mustafa Bhaiwala is the Business Unit Head for the Program Management Office and Technology Solutions with Mazars in Pakistan. As the head of the business unit, Mr. Bhaiwala is primarily responsible to oversee the execution of engagements that include strategic consultancy, economic development, monitoring and evaluation, business advisory, market research and technology implementation projects.In addition to that, Mr. Bhaiwala is also responsible for developing new business in the domain of Technology development, Business Process Re-engineering, Capacity Development and Project Management in the emerging markets.Prior to joining Mazars in 2008, Mr. Mustafa was employed by a leading healthcare organization in the United States as an IT Operations Project Manager. Aamir Paracha is an experienced MBA Engineer with specialization in Systems Design, Development and Improvement. His background is in Project Management, Operations Management, and Quality Management. His interest areas also include Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Green Business.

Aamir has multi-dimensional international work history for leading organizations. He holds multi-functional experience and has independently led multiple functions, including manufacturing, quality, planning, maintenance and administration. After 13 years of association with large and mid-size manufacturing organizations in the Metal Processing and Textile industries in defense and private sectors, he is presently working as Management Trainer and Educator.

He has initiated, planned, executed and controlled strategic systems development and process improvement projects. As General Manager Operations he has headed more than 500+ subordinates.

Currently, he is Director of the diploma programs in Project Management and Quality Management for working executives, and conducts Management Training programs in Operations and General Management subjects.
