President & Vice PresidentS M Mumtaz Ahmad, B.Sc Engg, PMP, PMI Leadeship Institute's graduate President of PMI KPC Mr. S. M. Mumtaz Ahmad is associated with PMI Karachi Chapter since 2004. He is a Charter Member of PMI Karachi. He served as VP Membership till January 2009. Since February 2009 he is president of PMI Karachi Pakistan Chapter. He was engaged with industrial organization in senior position for over three decades. He was General Manager of Javedan Cement Factory in 1995. Then he joined Galadari Cement (Gulf) and served it for more than a decade. His main area of engagement was Project Management, Team development and Human Resource Management. He had been mostly a Change agent in his career. Basically he is a Mining Engineer. Also holds AMIE Certification in Mechanical Engineering. He passed his PMP Exam in the year 2004. He became graduate from PMI Leadership Institute in the year 2008. He is also SDI Qualified & SDI Certified. He is a frequent speaker and has conducted a number of Workshops on 'Conflict Management' and PMP Exam Preparation. Zahara Khan: BCS, MCS, PMP Executive Vice President, PMI KPC Zahara is working as president DOTZ Technologies. She is a Computer Science graduate from FAST having more than 11 years of experience in software development with over 7 years of project management experience with international and local projects. As a social entrepreneur, Zahara is currently leading the ICT4D initiatives in Pakistan. She has also mentored many community-level youth and education development programs. Her special interests are ICT4D Projects, Education Management Information Systems (EMIS), and Project Management in Social Development Projects Mr. Muhammad Irfan Ali VP Membership Services, PMI KPC Mr. Muhammad Irfan Ali is the Joint Senior Vice President of Information Technology at Pak Qatar Mr. Shabih Rizvi: BA, BS VP Programs PMI KPC Shabih Rizvi is a business and IT professional with program management, project management, business analysis and training experience. Shabih has supervised and led varied large and small IT projects. He has experience in leading, managing and developing project teams and coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders. Shabih has also been involved in understanding and developing project management maturity for companies, with focus on organizational project maturity, PMO functionality, project managers and project teams, project management competency, and project auditing. He is project manager for the PMI Karachi Chapter Mentoring Program Implementation Project (MPIP). Mr. Shuja R. Khan, BCS, MCS, PMP VP Volunteer Coordination PMI KPC Mr. Shuja R. Khan is working as a Senior Manager at Hilton Pharma (Pvt.) Ltd. He has BS & MS degrees in Computer Science. He is a PMI certified PMP. Shuja has spent more than a decade in managing software projects with a software company before joining Hilton Pharma. His special interests include voluntary work for the promotion of project management and Career counseling for Computer science students. Currently he is serving as Vice President Volunteer Coordination at PMI Karachi chapter. Mr. Muhammad Munaf: BCom, DCS, PMP VP Finance PMI KPC Mr. Mohammad Munaf is a Solution Architect at System Innovations (Pvt) Ltd., (Si3). He has a Bachelor of Commerce (Major in Accountancy). He is a PMI certified PMP, More than 18 years experience with a proven track record in Project Management, design, development and implementation of information systems for various clients in manufacturing, financial services & healthcare industries. His special interests & passion is Implementation of Oracle ERP & Project Management Mr. ASGHAR ALI SYED VP Governance and Policy PMI KPC Mr. Asghar Ali Syed is managing the affairs of Coordination & Engineering Services Department (C&ES) of Pak-Arab Refinery Ltd (PARCO). During over 26 year stay in PARCO, which is an organization of international repute with consistent record of AAA credit rating, he has worked on different positions in middle management cadre in Telecom / SCADA and Manager Operation of cross country Pipeline networks spread from the coast of Karachi to Sheikhupura near Lahore. In C&ES department he has supervised Construction and IT Projects and provided Project Management and reporting support to mega projects of the company. He is the Management Representative (MR) of Pipeline Division Integrated Management System for ISO Certification in Quality, Environment and OHSAS. During his career of around 35 years he has all along been associated with the oil industry in both upstream and downstream sectors. While in OGDC for about eight years he got an opportunity of Seismic Programmer Training in CANADA through M/s Western Geophysical Company of Canada as a special aid program to Pakistan from Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).
