Zahid Hussain is a graduate mechanical engineer with a Masters degree in Business Administration. He has over thirty years of professional experience of working in multinational companies mostly in the areas of engineering, manufacturing & projects management. He is currently running his own consulting company on projects management. He is a member of PMI since 2004 and he became a certified PMP in 2005. He is one of the founder board member of PMI-Karachi chapter and is currently serving as Vice President - Programs. His special interest & passion is training & development of project managers in Pakistan.

Rafi Khan is working as Vice President, Enterprise Solutions Group Inbox (pvt) Ltd. Prior to Inbox, Rafi has served as Director, Enterprise Application Systems at Si3 System Innovations (Pvt) Ltd Karachi, and as Project Manager IT at Zahid Tractor & Heavy Machinery Co Ltd, Saudi Arabia. Rafi started off his career as EDP Manager at ICI Pakistan Limited where he served for 10 years and went on to become the IT Manager. Rafi holds a Masters degree in Information Technology from University of Connecticut, USA.

He has a 10+ years experience in IT field mainly comprises of Business Development, Enterprise Sales and Project Management. Rafiq Lakhani: BCS, PMP

Rafiq Lakhani is a Team Lead – Project Management Group at Pixsense. He is a computer science graduate with PMP certification. He has overall experience of more than 8 years. His special interests are to Contribute towards awareness of project management practices, Project Audits, PMO function development and maintenance, and implementation of IT policies and procedure. He is currently assisting the Vice president Membership at PMI KPC in the capacity of Director Membership.

Zeeshan Jawaid has been delivering services in the telecom industry for more than a decade. He has extensive experience at different levels such as Project Management, Implementation & Rollout, Business development, GSM/PSTN/Broad Brand/DWDM Managed Services, Next Generation Networks (NGN) Solution Selling, Quality Management & Customer Handling.

He has worked in diverse roles such as Manager Sales & Marketing with Siemens Pakistan, one of the leading player in the industry, in addition he has also extensive work experience with Nokia Siemens Networks as Manager Transmission Implementation on the Telenor Rollout Project, which is one of the largest rollouts in the region.

Presently, he is dispensing his services to ‘Huawei Technologies (Pakistan) as Project Manager’ in Managed Services Department. Huawei Technologies is a private high-tech enterprise which specializes in research and development (R & D), production and marketing of communications equipments, and providing customized network solutions for telecom carriers worldwide. He is an Electronics Engineer by profession. In addition he has an MBA in Marketing and one of the few persons in Pakistan who are Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from Singapore Quality Institute (SQI) in association with Pakistan Institute of Quality Control (PIQC).

He worked as Project Manager, Production Manager, Manager Quality Assurance & Development in leading national & international food industries. The projects in food industry includes from concept through purchase, installation, commissioning to the successful commercialization. Worked with more than twelve international experts & consultants in the field of food industry. He has also worked as a Human Resource Consultant with a Dubai based company. Jawaid has taught at management institutions of repute to both MBA & BBA levels. National University of Modern Languages is one of them. Jawaid has specialized in Marketing, Finance & Project Management. He is also teaching a management course of ABE-UK which is very popular globally. He is a senior volunteer & associated with PMI- Karachi Chapter since it’s inception.
